Well I have nearly 0 in GameStop and Best Buy gift cards that I do not want. I just want the cash, and I really don’t want to sell them on Ebay because then I won’t get the full amount.

What’s this I’m hearing about business’ accepting gift cards from other companies? Are all the major places like Best Buy, Home Depot and Wal-Mart in on this? I have a Khol’s card I’d rather use at one of these places. Any links with detailed info or a list of participating business’ would be much appreciated!

I have about left on one visa gift card, and about on another…I want to purchase something online, but I need to use both of the gift cards. However, I am not able to enter both of them at the checkout. Does anyone know how I can use the money on both of these cards to make my purchase?

Canadian answer please. For example – I give them gift cards for DVD rentals. I am repsonsible for removing the snow of my rental income properties.

You should try to have some sort of record on what you gave to whom, just in case they ask. If you can also show purchase of gift baskets, for instance, that would help.

I got one of the ideal gift visa gift cards on Christmas as a gift with 0 on it. I activated it and now I’de like to use it to make an online purchase on the Best Buy website. First of all, should I enter the visa gc as a regular credit card? And what if the item is MORE than 0, I already have a backup credit card in place, will it just remove the difference automatically?
